Clinton, Obama, McCain, Huckabee

Paul Krugman has an op-ed piece of interest to the Democratic Obama – Clinton race today in the NYT.  Obama ruled in caucuses yesterday and now the (fallible) polls and pundits place him ahead of Clinton in tomorrow’s so-called Potomac Primaries in DC, Maryland and Virginia.  Clinton is raising less money, and has now switched her campaign leadership.  Meanwhile Mike Huckabee, still contesting against McCain, visited Jerry Falwell’s church in Lynchburg, yesterday.  I dare hope this will force McCain to drift further to the right, hurting his chances later in the general election.  What would be revolutionary would be for him instead to visit Lynchburg now and give straight talk to the same people about how bad their intolerance is for the country, how un-Christian they are.  Which path will he chooose?
