Ditching Dish (Network)

Dish Network, which is 80% owned by its Chairman and CEO Charlie Ergen, rejected a proposal by  New York Employees retirement fund to bar discrimination in employment against LGBT people yesterday.  Coverage courtesy of the Denver Post.

I’m glad we switched a year ago to cable (Astound).  Not only do we get better service, we’re not giving money to corporations fighting against basic human rights.   WTF motivates people like that?
