What’s the difference between Obama and Bush?

About five days, apparently.

Headlines this afternoon tout the “bipartisan” agreement on the Bush bailout, which will not include any changes to bankruptcy laws to help those being foreclosed, nor any economic stimulus – other than the hundreds of billions for the bankers.

What did the demos get?  Well – they plan to withhold some of the desired funds until the Administration ‘certifies’ that they are needed.   Wow!  I trust them, don’t you?

From Forbes.com:

“It’s not based on any particular data point,” a Treasury spokeswoman told Forbes.com Tuesday. “We just wanted to choose a really large number.”

I feel disappointed, a bit betrayed that when put to the test, the team I was counting on not only collapsed, it joined the other side.  Now I’m worried this will affect turnout here in California – if progressives are unenthusiastic about Obama, No on 8 will have a harder time.
